In less than a week, Court Buddy will host a free Legal Meet-Up, specifically about real estate legal issues.
We will bring together a wide variety of attorneys to answer your questions regarding landlord and tenant law. The event is scheduled for June 26, 2020 at 1PM PT / 4PM ET via Zoom.
Live attorneys will be answering your questions in real time. Please visit this link to sign up.
In advance of the Meet-Up, we want to highlight one of our panelists, Attorney Bradley Bailyn.
Bradley concentrates his practice on working with start-up entrepreneurs and small business owners. He hates to see small businesses fail, and believes many do because the people entrepreneurs must work with—landlords, venture capitalists, and lenders—have excellent attorneys. Too often, small business owners don't think they even need a lawyer—until it’s too late.
“I thank God every day I’m here doing what I do,” Bradley says. “I really want my clients to succeed.”
During the Covid-19 crisis, Bradley has fielded many calls from both landlords and tenants about commercial property issues. He always advises negotiation as a first step. If necessary, a tenant who can't pay the rent on a commercial property can negotiate for a smaller space, sublease the premises, buy out the lease or as a last resort, reject the lease in bankruptcy.
Bradley believes Court Buddy shares his passion for small business success. "Court Buddy is a group of people who love the law, love small business, and really want to see people get help," Bradley says.
Bradley balances his busy work life with spending time outdoors with his kids and reading to stay ahead of the changing legal landscape. He participated in the last Legal Meet-Up, which he describes as “almost like a party.” Bradley is excited to help answer your questions at the upcoming Meet-Up.
