At LawChamps, our mission is to bring more legal help to more people when they need it most. We use technology to provide timely, informative, and educational content about the law to consumers, and we make working with top lawyers accessible and equitable.

As a LawChamps intern, you will be able to work remotely and will be empowered to work on different social justice and legal reform initiatives. You will also receive substantive, hands-on experience with a legal tech company, ranging from partnerships and community outreach, legal content creation, social media and marketing, to website user experience and data analysis. Throughout the internship, you will work towards the ultimate goal of making legal services more accessible and equitable for all.

Partnerships and Business Development Internship

About the position:


The LawChamps Partnership/Business Development Internship Program will focus on research, strategy, outreach, and activations. The goal is to assist the Chief Strategy Officer on where to best position LawChamps externally, identifying which partners makes the best sense, and where to initiate on the ground activations (virtual or physical).


Job responsibilities:


Our Partnership/Business Development Interns over the 12 weeks will develop a comprehensive database with organizations, media companies, community organizations, and the likes of others. The goal of the database is to give an overview of the landscape of where Court Buddy can plug into for strategic partnerships to drive Awareness, Traffic, and Trust. In addition, the interns will develop a national calendar highlighting the signature events across the industry for Court Buddy to consider allocating resources for engagement. The interns will also work to support the Court Buddy Ambassador Program, designed to be targeted toward macro and micro-influencers in exchange for pro bono services to a select number of their followers. By the end of the internship, the interns should have secured two partnerships at a minimum.

This position will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.


Qualifications:


Open to law and pre-law students, undergraduate and graduate students and fellows (JD, MBA, Journalism, Pre-Law, Business, Marketing or similar field)
3.5 GPA +
Interested and well-versed in current events and legal issues

About the position:


The interns on this team will assist in the branding, design, usability, and function of our website (desktop and mobile). To be successful in this position, you must have a strong knowledge of and interest in creating a great user experience.


Job responsibilities:


The Court Buddy UX intern will be tasked with embedding data tracking, analyzing analytics reports and coming up with ideas on how to apply the findings to the design, branding, and language of our digital products.

This position will report directly to our CEO and Director of Operations & Business Intelligence.

3.5 GPA +
Interested and well-versed in SEO, analytics, and usability
Excellent knowledge of CMS tools
Knowledge of analytical tools
Ability to work cross-functionally

Social Media/Marketing Internship at Law Champs

About the position:


The Social Media Intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the Business Development and Partnership team with campaigns. To be successful as a Social Media Intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms. A good Social Media Intern combines creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.


Job responsibilities:


The Court Buddy Social Media Intern will be tasked with creating and managing the social media calendar with the help of Court Buddy’s Leadership Team. They will brainstorm campaign ideas with the Business Development and Partnership team. They will post on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn and will effectively analyze metrics to gauge the success of campaigns.

This position will report directly to the Internship Coordinator and Chief Strategy Officer.

Open to law and pre-law students, undergraduate, and graduate students and fellows (JD, MBA, Journalism, Pre-Law, Business, Marketing or similar field)
